We’ve had a small place in the south of France for years, and I used to just leave our old UK car there. But after Brexit, the rules changed and it got really stressful...French insurance wouldn’t cover it properly, and technically we weren’t even supposed to keep it there long-term. I looked into registering it locally but gave up pretty quickly. Too much red tape, and my French isn’t great.
Then I came across MyGermanCar, and honestly, it was a relief. They explained everything clearly, helped me pick a car in Germany, and took care of the whole process. Plates, insurance, paperwork , all sorted without me needing to travel or deal with any of it directly. The car arrived with proper German registration and I’ve had zero issues driving it around France and even down to Spain last month.
If you're a UK resident with a holiday home in the EU, this is a brilliant solution. It just works
